First Aid

West Cornwall Adventure is an approved training centre of the Association of First Aiders, providing Health & Safety Executive (HSE) and AoFA approved first aid courses.

We provide HSE approved First Aid at Work courses in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981. First Aid provision in the workplace is a legal requirement, we can help keep your workplace safe and support your first aid training needs.

The Paediatric First Aid course covers the theoretical and practical skills necessary to deal with first aid emergencies in children and babies as recommended by OFSTED.

Automated External Defibtillation (AED) has proven to be the most effective therapy for cardiac arrest, provision of an AED and trained operators have become an essential part of the community. 

The WCA team of qualified instructors range from HPC State Registered Paramedics to Ambulance First Responders. Our instructors will pass on the skills and knowledge required to help you effectively deal with an emergency first aid situation should one arise.
